Mill test reports (MTRs) confirming the exact alloy grade allow us to pay the maximum rate. Without MTRs, material is priced conservatively. With MTRs, Inconel 625 can command $2–$4/lb more than ungraded nickel alloy. Keep your paperwork.
Aerospace Aluminum — 7075 and 2024
Aerospace aluminum alloys (7075, 2024, 7050) are worth 20–30% more than standard 6061 due to their higher alloying element content. They are found in airframe structures, wing spars, and fuselage frames. XRF testing or MTRs confirm the grade.
