Who We Are

ScrapMetalBuyers.com is a nationwide industrial scrap metal buying operation with over 15 years of experience purchasing metals from manufacturing facilities, power plants, refineries, aerospace companies, HVAC contractors, electricians, and demolition firms across all 50 states.

We started because we saw a clear problem: industrial sellers with high-value metals — Inconel, Hastelloy, titanium, Monel — were getting paid commodity prices at general scrap yards that had no idea what those metals were actually worth. We built relationships with specialty metal processors and alloy recyclers that allow us to pay significantly more for these materials.

Today, we're one of the largest buyers of specialty industrial scrap in the country. We handle everything from a single HVAC contractor's monthly copper load to complete plant shutdown buyouts worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

What We Specialize In

⚙ Nickel Alloys

Inconel 625, 718, 600, 601 · Hastelloy C-276, C-22, B-2 · Waspaloy · Monel 400, K-500 · Nickel 200. We pay top dollar for all grades in all forms.

✈ Titanium

Grade 2, Grade 5 (6Al-4V), Grade 9, Grade 23. Plate, bar, tube, sheet, machining chips, and turnings. Aerospace and medical grade accepted.

🏭 Plant Shutdowns

Complete facility buyouts — we handle logistics, sorting, removal, and payment. Manufacturing plants, power plants, refineries, chemical facilities.

🔌 Copper & Electrical

Bare bright wire, #1 and #2 copper, bus bar, transformers, electric motors, switchgear. HVAC and electrical contractor programs available.

🔧 Stainless Steel

304, 316, 310, 321, 347, 904L, duplex grades. All forms: sheet, plate, pipe, fittings, machined parts, and mixed stainless.

📈 Tungsten Carbide

Carbide inserts, end mills, drills, wear parts, and tooling. We pay by the pound based on carbide content — typically $6–$12/lb for clean inserts.

Our Service Area

We serve all 50 states. For commercial pickups, we typically cover the continental United States with our own fleet and logistics network. For Alaska and Hawaii, we work with local partners to arrange cost-effective shipping.

Our highest-volume markets include Texas, California, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Georgia, Florida, and the Gulf Coast region — but we have completed transactions in every state. Distance is not a barrier for large lots.

For plant shutdowns and large industrial lots, we will travel anywhere in the country. The logistics cost is factored into our offer, not charged separately. What we quote is what you receive.

Our Commitment to Fair Pricing

The scrap metal industry has a reputation for opacity and lowball offers. We've built our business on the opposite approach: transparent pricing, honest assessments, and paying what the metal is actually worth.

Our price calculator is publicly available because we want sellers to know what their metal is worth before they call us. If our offer doesn't match the calculator estimate, we'll explain exactly why — material condition, grade variation, or market movement. We don't play games with pricing.

For specialty alloys, we will tell you the exact alloy grade we've identified, the current market price for that grade, and the exact calculation behind our offer. You should always know what you're selling and what it's worth.
