Frequently Asked Questions

Do you handle full refinery shutdowns?

Yes — plant shutdowns and refinery decommissioning are our specialty. We can evaluate an entire facility, provide a lump-sum offer, and manage the logistics of removal and transport. We've handled shutdowns from single units to entire processing trains. Call us to discuss your project.

What do you need to quote a refinery scrap package?

A basic inventory list with metal types, approximate weights, and condition is enough to start. Photos help. For large packages, we prefer a site visit. We can usually provide a preliminary range quote within 24 hours of receiving basic information.

Do you buy contaminated or process-fouled pipe?

Yes, with some conditions. Pipe with light scale, oxidation, or residual process fluids is generally acceptable. Pipe with heavy contamination (catalyst, radioactive material, or hazardous waste) requires additional handling and may affect pricing. Be upfront about contamination and we'll work with you.
